Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP)
Last Updated: September 18, 2026 | Effective Date: September 18, 2026
1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Usage Policy ("AUP") governs the acceptable, lawful, and ethical use of all hosting services, networks, computational nodes, and control panels provided by ARC HOST (archost.site). This policy is strictly enforced to protect the stability, security, reputation, and performance of our infrastructure and all tenants sharing our cloud environment.
2. Strictly Prohibited Activities
Any account or container identified engaging in the following actions will face immediate suspension or permanent termination without prior notice or refund:
Zero Tolerance Actions
Involvement in DDoS attacks, botnets, malware distribution, or crypto mining results in immediate automated process isolation and permanent account bans.
- Denial of Service (DoS / DDoS): Initiating, participating in, or amplifying outbound denial of service attacks, packet floods, UDP reflection attacks, or stress-testing against any external or internal IP address.
- Cryptocurrency Mining: Running CPU or GPU mining software (including XMRig, Monero miners, Bitcoin miners, or grid computing algorithms) on shared bot hosting, game servers, or VPS slices.
- Malware & Phishing: Hosting, distributing, or executing malicious software, keyloggers, Trojans, ransomware, phishing fake login pages, or command & control (C2) servers.
- Unauthorized Scanning & Brute Force: Running automated port scanners (such as Masscan or Nmap against unauthorized targets), credential-stuffing tools, dictionary attackers, or vulnerability exploit probes.
- Spam & Unsolicited Email: Operating open mail relays, bulk unsolicited promotional mailers, or email scrapers. (Port 25 is blocked by default across all compute nodes to enforce anti-spam compliance).
- Illegal Content Distribution: Storing or distributing pirated intellectual property, stolen credentials, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), terroristic propaganda, or copyrighted media without distribution authorization.
- IP Spoofing & ARP Poisoning: Forging packet headers, spoofing source IP addresses, or attempting ARP / MAC table manipulation on virtualization hypervisors.
3. Discord Bot Hosting Guidelines
All Discord bots hosted on ARC HOST must comply with Discord's official Developer Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. The following bot behaviors are specifically forbidden:
- Self-bots, user tokens, or automation of regular user Discord accounts.
- Mass direct messaging (DM) advertising bots or server nuking/raiding scripts.
- Token grabbers or Discord account credential harvesting software.
4. Resource Abuse & Hardware Protection
While ARC HOST provides high burst capacity, software intentionally designed to continuously lock CPU cores at 100% with infinite no-op loops or hammer NVMe storage with endless write cycles will be flagged for review under our Fair Usage Policy.
5. Violation Reporting & Abuse Handling
If you discover an ARC HOST customer or IP address violating this policy, please report it immediately to our dedicated abuse response team at archostingxyz@gmail.com or via our Discord ticket system. We investigate all actionable abuse notices within 12 hours.
